From MotoGP to F1:Ducati Highlights Audi’s Factory Debut
Ducati unveiled its racing programme for the 2026 season at the Madonna di Campiglio alpine resort, also highlighting another major upcoming event the presentation of Audi’s factory Formula 1 team in Berlin.
Since 2012, Ducati has been fully owned by Lamborghini, which is part of the Audi Group, meaning that the Italian brand’s success is supported in large part by German engineering and financial resources. It was therefore no coincidence that Marc Márquez secured his seventh MotoGP title with Ducati last season.
The team has already claimed 99 victories in MotoGP, and company CEO Claudio Domenicali has promised that the milestone 100th win will come soon. He also подчеркнул the significance of Audi’s Formula 1 debut, noting the Audi Group’s unique presence at the highest level of racing on both two and four wheels, and expressed confidence in future cooperation between Ducati and the Audi F1 Team.
