Hollywood Meets F1:A Hit Film Eyes Part Two

F1 The Movie is already being described as a “love letter to Formula 1,” and the description seems well deserved. With a production budget of around $300 million, the film has grossed $631.5 million worldwide, confirming both strong audience appeal and commercial success.

The film has recently become available to Apple TV subscribers, including in our country, and almost immediately topped the platform’s rankings. Some viewers watched it for the first time, while others chose to revisit it. Despite certain Hollywood conventions, the film offers clear strengths, which have been acknowledged by both audiences and critics.

Buoyed by this success, the creators have begun considering a continuation of the story of racing driver Sonny Hayes, portrayed by Brad Pitt. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed that the idea of a sequel is very much on the table.

“We enjoy making films that create emotions. It’s not only about making money, but about seeing smiles on people’s faces,” he said.
