Marshals Ready for Action

As preparations ramp up for the highly anticipated Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Baku City Circuit (BCC) has successfully conducted another key training session for race marshals. Held at the European Games Park in Baku, the session was a vital component of the ongoing efforts to ensure a safe, smooth, and professionally managed Grand Prix event.

The training program was divided into two main components: theoretical instruction and practical exercises. Marshals in attendance were first briefed extensively on the structure, schedule, and operational protocols of the upcoming race. Instructors, many of whom are seasoned motorsport professionals, also shared their firsthand experiences and insights, addressing questions from the participants and offering guidance based on real-world scenarios.

In the practical portion of the training, marshals engaged in simulation-based exercises designed to replicate potential on-track incidents. These simulations enabled participants to hone their skills in key areas such as emergency response, trackside communication, and adherence to strict safety protocols. This hands-on approach provided marshals with a realistic preview of the types of challenges they may face during race weekend.

Meanwhile, the theoretical segment focused on detailed training materials prepared by the BCC team. Marshals reviewed procedures, safety regulations, and best practices, ensuring that every individual is equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to perform their duties at the highest level.

These training sessions play a crucial role in the success of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, as marshals serve as the backbone of race operations, ensuring the safety of drivers, teams, and spectators alike.

The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from September 19 to 21, and promises to deliver yet another thrilling chapter in Baku’s motorsport legacy.
