Monza Aims for Record Crowd
The Italian Automobile Club (ACI) has announced that all tickets for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza have been sold out nearly four weeks ahead of the race weekend. A full house is expected at the historic circuit, with grandstands packed with Ferrari fans hoping to witness a repeat of last year’s success, when Charles Leclerc secured a memorable home victory for the Scuderia.
However, Ferrari's performance in the 2025 season has so far been underwhelming. Leclerc has managed just five podium finishes in 14 races a modest result by the team’s standards. Despite holding second place in the Constructors' Championship, Ferrari trails McLaren by a substantial 299 points.
Still, Monza is known for its unpredictability, which only heightens anticipation among spectators. Special attention will be on Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion and five-time winner at Monza, who will be making his first appearance at the circuit as a Ferrari driver a major point of intrigue for fans.
In 2024, the Italian Grand Prix attracted 335,000 spectators over three days. Organisers are aiming to match or even surpass that number this year. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a limited number of tickets are still available for Friday and Saturday sessions.
“We are expecting a major turnout and believe there’s a strong chance we could break last year’s attendance record,” said ACI representative General Tullio del Sette.
