Weather once again took center stage in Interlagos, shaping the narrative of the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend. After a night of fierce storms, the skies cleared and the track dried in time for the sprint race to get underway as scheduled.
Lando Norris showcased his superb form, converting pole position into a commanding victory his third career sprint win further strengthening his lead in the drivers’ standings. Kimi Antonelli followed closely in second, while George Russell claimed third, giving Mercedes the edge over Ferrari in the Constructors’ Championship.
The sprint was not without its share of drama: incidents involving Piastri and Colapinto triggered red flags, and on the final lap, Gabriel Bortoleto suffered a heavy crash. Thankfully, the Brazilian escaped unharmed.
