Pepe Marti Secures Cupra Kiro GEN4 Seat

Cupra Kiro has confirmed that Pepe Martí will remain with the team for the 2026/27 Formula E season, handing the young Spaniard another opportunity to build on an impressive debut campaign as the championship enters the GEN4 era.Marti made an immediate impact in his first Formula E season, collecting 66 points and securing two podium finishes in Monaco and Sanya. His results also saw him finish as the highest-scoring rookie in the championship. The 21-year-old is managed by Fernando Alonso’s A14 Management and has already secured a place in Formula E history, becoming the first Spanish driver to reach the podium in the series. With the next-generation GEN4 cars set to bring a major technical step forward, Cupra Kiro has chosen continuity as it looks to strengthen its position in the championship.Martí is equally keen to continue developing with the team after a debut season that provided valuable experience and several standout results.

I’m very happy to continue with Cupra Kiro. From the moment I joined, I’ve felt the team’s confidence and support, which has been extremely important for me.Last season gave me a huge amount of experience, and standing on the podium and becoming the first Spanish driver to do so in Formula E are achievements I’m very proud of. At the same time, I feel that this is only the beginning. The move to GEN4 represents an exciting new chapter, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together next season.”Marti said.
