Norris Eyes Future Le Mans Team-Up with Rossi
Formula 1 champion Lando Norris and MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi were among the headline attractions at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the two motorsport stars shared the stage during a special interview.During a conversation with former Formula 1 driver Karun Chandhok, the Briton revealed that he hopes to one day compete alongside Rossi in the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, Norris acknowledged that such an opportunity is unlikely to arise for several years due to Formula 1's demanding race calendar. Rossi welcomed the idea, saying he would be happy to wait for that moment. Norris also revealed that he began his motorsport journey on two wheels before switching to karting following an accident. Despite that setback, the McLaren driver admitted he would like to return to motorcycle racing in the future, prompting Rossi to invite him to train at his VR46 Riders Academy. Reflecting on McLaren's Formula 1 campaign, Norris expressed confidence that the team will still be capable of fighting for victories later this season. His comments were met with enthusiastic applause from the thousands of fans gathered at Goodwood.
