After Baku Win,Mercedes Targets Strong Singapore Showing

The Singapore circuit has not historically been a strong suit for Mercedes, but ahead of this round, the team has secured second place in the Constructors’ Championship and hopes to continue its successful streak.

Toto Wolff, Team Principal: “After a successful weekend in Azerbaijan, we are heading to another street race. Although Baku and Marina Bay share the characteristics of street circuits, each presents its own set of challenges. Singapore is narrower and more technically demanding, and the heat and high humidity create unique conditions for both the cars and the drivers.

We are pleased with our current position in the Constructors’ Championship, but we understand the level of competition is very high. Our goal is to give our maximum effort at every event, fight for podiums, and maintain second place through to the end of the season.”
