AIX Racing Confirms Kean Shields for 2026 Season

AIX Racing has confirmed that British driver Kean Shields will remain with the team for another season in Formula 2.

Shields made his debut in the championship in 2025 but has yet to make a significant impact. His best result to date is 11th place in Imola, and he has not scored any points, currently sitting at the bottom of the standings. In comparison, his teammate Joshua Duerksen opened the season with a victory, making Shields’ performances appear modest.

“I am pleased to extend my contract with AIX Racing and to continue my journey in Formula 2. This season has been challenging, but I have learned a great deal and feel ready to return stronger. Together with the team, we have gained valuable experience, and I am confident we can make a big step forward and fight for the results we aim to achieve,” said Shields.
