Alex Dunne Triumphs in Bahrain F2 Race
Rodin Motorsport driver Alex Dunne has won the Formula 2 race in Bahrain.
The Irish driver claimed his first-ever victory in Formula 2.
Leonardo Fornaroli started the race from pole position. The Italian driver got off to a strong start and maintained his lead. However, things did not go well for Victor Martins, as the French driver had a poor start and dropped down to sixth place. Dunne, on the other hand, made a quick start and moved up to second. Villagómez and Staněk took third and fourth positions respectively. Yesterday’s sprint race winner, Josep Maria Martí, also had a strong start and climbed to fifth place.
Ultimately, Dunne crossed the finish line first in Bahrain to secure his maiden Formula 2 victory. Luke Browning finished second, while Leonardo Fornaroli claimed third place.
