Alonso Adds Another Rare Supercar to His Collection
Almost all Aston Martin cars are special, but some models are even rarer and more unique, produced in very limited numbers.
Among them is the Aston Martin Valiant a racing version of the Valour model, yet still suitable for regular roads. Fernando Alonso was involved in the development of the Valiant, and naturally, one of the 38 units is in his personal garage. Yesterday, the two-time World Champion shared a photo from Monaco, captioned:
“The perfect Sunday drive! The Valiant has it all!”
Recently, Alonso was seen driving a Mercedes CLK GTR, and now he has showcased another rare gem from his collection. The price of a Valiant starts at over €2 million, and if Alonso ever decides to sell his car, its value will undoubtedly increase due to its unique history.
This two-door powerhouse features a lightweight aluminum chassis, a 5.2-liter V12 engine producing 735 hp, a 6-speed manual transmission, and rear-wheel drive. Designed primarily for the track, the car boasts aggressive aerodynamics and racing-oriented performance.
