Alpine Extends Franco Colapinto’s Contract for 2026

The Alpine team has officially confirmed that Franco Colapinto will remain with the team for the 2026 season, once again partnering with Pierre Gasly.

Team advisor Flavio Briatore stated that the decision to extend the contract reflects Alpine’s confidence in the Argentine driver’s potential:

“Franco has proven that he can grow together with the team. His partnership with Pierre is a strong combination of experience, speed, and talent.”

Colapinto, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the team’s trust:

“It hasn’t been easy to secure my place in Formula 1, and I’m proud to continue this journey with Alpine. Announcing this here in Brazil, so close to my home country, makes it even more special.”
