Antonelli: “I Just Enjoyed the Final Laps”

Kimi Antonelli won the Monaco Grand Prix, securing his fifth consecutive victory of the season. Despite multiple Safety Car periods, red flags, and several incidents throughout the race, the Mercedes driver remained composed and delivered a flawless performance to take the chequered flag.

Speaking after the race, the Italian praised the pace of his car throughout the weekend and credited the team for providing him with a highly competitive package. Antonelli stated that he felt confident behind the wheel and remained in full control, even after the lengthy race suspension.

The 19-year-old also emphasized that the team has no intention of easing its momentum and remains determined to continue performing at the highest level. He expressed his gratitude to Mercedes and his family for their unwavering support, describing his Monaco triumph as one of the happiest moments of his career.
