Antonelli Survives AMG Accident

The team previously announced that ahead of the season, Kimi Antonelli received a company car a Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO Motorsport Collectors Edition, a rare model limited to just 200 units. However, only a few days later the driver was involved in an accident.

According to Italian media, the incident occurred in San Marino, where Antonelli’s car collided with a barrier. Kimi was not injured, and the damage to the vehicle was not severe. No other parties were involved in the accident.

This will not affect his preparations for the upcoming tests in Bahrain Antonelli will continue his program as planned.

Update: Mercedes’ press office confirmed that the driver is unharmed: “On Saturday evening, not far from his home in San Marino, Kimi was involved in a road incident. He contacted the police himself to report what had happened.”
