F1 Rookie Arvid Lindblad Scores Points While Still Chasing His Driving Licence

Arvid Lindblad has made a strong start to his debut Formula 1 season, scoring 20 points and currently sitting 11th in the Drivers' Championship. However, the 18-year-old British driver does not yet hold a regular driving licence and is currently taking lessons in preparation for his test. Lindblad admitted that not having a road licence was initially amusing, but he has now decided to resolve the matter and obtain it as soon as possible. Reflecting on his first Formula 1 campaign, Lindblad said the step up from Formula 2 has been a major challenge, both on and off the track. Nevertheless, he has embraced the new environment and described competing in Formula 1 as the fulfilment of a lifelong dream.
