Aston Martin & Racing Bulls Break F1 Rules

On the night of August 29, the Aston Martin and Racing Bulls teams violated the curfew regulations, which attracted the attention of Formula 1 stewards. The violation occurred due to work carried out on the teams' cars during the prohibited period from 21:00 on August 29 to 08:30 on August 30.

In the case of Aston Martin, Lance Stroll was involved in an incident during Friday's session, where he lost control of his car and crashed. As a result, the team was forced to replace the chassis of his car, requiring additional work from the mechanics, who were on the track during the night. Meanwhile, Racing Bulls also had to carry out overnight work Isaac Hajar's car underwent a power unit replacement.

In both cases, the work was carried out during the restricted hours, when team members are prohibited from being on the track. However, according to the rules, each team is allowed two such violations per season without penalties. Therefore, while a violation occurred, neither Aston Martin nor Racing Bulls will face sanctions, as this was their first of the two permissible violations allowed by the regulations.
