McLaren driver Oscar Piastri has matched a remarkable record set by Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna.

This marks Piastri’s fifth win of the season, with previous victories in China, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Miami, and now Spain.
With his latest result, Piastri has now achieved eight consecutive podium finishes — equaling a record set by Ayrton Senna. The Brazilian icon accomplished the same feat between the 1988 Mexican and Belgian Grands Prix, collecting six wins and two second-place finishes during that stretch.
