Bottas Set to Join Cadillac F1 in 2026?

According to RacingNews365, the Cadillac F1 Team has reached an agreement with Valtteri Bottas to join the outfit for the 2026 season. The official announcement is expected to be made next week.

In preparation for its debut in Formula1, the American team is planning to conduct a series of tests in the second half of this year using previous-generation Ferrari cars. These sessions are intended to help engineers and mechanics acclimate to the demands of the championship. The inclusion of an experienced driver like Bottas is expected to be highly beneficial to this process a factor that likely contributed to the early signing of the contract.

At present, the Finnish driver holds the position of reserve driver at Mercedes. However, should a competitive full-time opportunity with Cadillac arise, it is unlikely that Toto Wolff would stand in the way of Bottas returning to the starting grid.
