Cadillac’s F1 Team Grows Fast

On Friday in Qatar, Cadillac team principal Graham Loudon spoke about the challenges of staffing.

“Currently, we have 500 permanent employees and aim to reach 525 by the end of the year, in addition to contract workers. Back in March, when our Formula 1 entry was approved, we had just over 300 employees I personally signed more than 300 letters in two days,” Loudon noted.

He added that recruiting hundreds of people requires immense effort: “Each vacancy generates hundreds of applications and interviews. Many people found us on their own, even though before the approval we were not allowed to mention ‘Formula 1.’ Now it’s much easier all vacancies are listed on our website, and we want to build a team that people will be proud of and want to stay with long-term.”
