Cardile Outlines Priorities with Aston Martin

In August, it was confirmed that after protracted negotiations, Ferrari and Aston Martin had reached an agreement for Enrico Cardile to join the British outfit. The Italian engineer, who spent many years in senior roles at Maranello, has now assumed the position of Technical Director at Aston Martin, where he will oversee car development and the team’s broader technical projects.

This week, Cardile addressed the team’s press office for the first time. He acknowledged the scale of the challenge ahead, noting that his main objectives are to strengthen the technical department and help Aston Martin close the gap to Formula 1’s front-runners. He stressed that long-term development of the car and the efficient use of resources will be central to this mission.

Cardile’s arrival represents a significant milestone for Aston Martin, ushering in a new chapter in the team’s history. Expectations for his impact are high both within the organization and among its global fanbase.
