Celebrities Take the Wheel in Formula E
Organizers of the World Championship for electric car racing have announced that special Evo Sessions will take place at the fourth round of the season in Saudi Arabia. These sessions will give prominent figures from sports, business, and the entertainment industry an opportunity to take the wheel of real Formula E cars.
The sessions are scheduled for February 15, immediately after the second race of the double-header event in Jeddah. Unlike last year’s experiment in Miami, which involved only amateur drivers, this edition is planned as a full-fledged mini-competition that will be broadcast live on the official Formula E YouTube channel. Further details, including the list of participants, will be announced next week.
Last year, several well-known personalities had the chance to test Formula E cars, including Brooklyn Beckham, footballer Sergio Aguero, actor Tom Felton, and racing-driver-turned-blogger Scott Mansell.
