Esteban Ocon on the Upcoming Baku Grand Prix

Last year, the Haas F1 team delivered a strong performance at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix: Oliver Bearman, who was substituting for Kevin Magnussen, managed to score a point for the team, while Nico Hülkenberg narrowly missed out on a top-10 finish. These results highlighted the team’s potential on the challenging Baku street circuit.

Esteban Ocon expressed hope that this weekend he would be able to avoid problems and fully capitalize on the car’s capabilities. “Last year, the team showed a strong performance and could have finished in the points with both cars. This weekend, our goal is to fight for every point, but it is also important to gradually build pace and confidence in order to reach the required level,” he said.

He also emphasized that the Baku circuit demands particular focus and precision: “It’s easy to make a mistake here, so you need to be extremely careful and stay fully concentrated on every lap.”
