Excitement Builds as Singapore Prepares for Grand Prix Week
Singapore is preparing to turn the upcoming Grand Prix into a vibrant city-wide celebration rather than just another round of the World Championship. The fan activities began as early as Monday: at Changi Airport, an Aston Martin F1 show car has been put on display, where visitors can not only take photos but also sample exclusive selections of Scottish whisky.
On Raffles Boulevard, an extended Williams fan zone has opened and will remain active until next Tuesday. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Alex Albon, Jenson Button, Team Principal James Vowles, and F1 Academy driver Lia Block. The exhibition features a FW47 show car as well as a full-scale replica of last year’s car, built from more than 400,000 Lego bricks.
Other teams have also joined in the activities. On Tuesday, Lando Norris will appear at Plaza Singapura for a Ralph Lauren Fragrances event. On Wednesday, ION Orchard will host an appearance by Isack Hadjar, alongside a Racing Bulls show car display. On Thursday, Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli is expected to visit the Adidas store, while Charles Leclerc will meet fans at the Puma store.
Singaporean fans are eagerly anticipating the race weekend: Leclerc has already stood on the local podium twice, and many believe he will once again be in contention for success despite the fierce competition.
