F1 Prep Brings Baku Traffic Shifts

Traffic to Be Partially Restricted on Certain Streets of Baku

Starting from 11:00 PM on August 31,the section of Fikrat Amirov Street between Khagani and Nizami Streets will be closed to traffic due to the installation of an above-ground pedestrian crossing for public use. The closure will remain in effect until the end of the races.

Bicycle lanes in the area will remain operational.

It should be noted that these restrictions are part of the installation and infrastructure work being carried out on the central streets and avenues of the city in preparation for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025, which will take place from September 19 to 21. The restrictions will be implemented in phases, and further changes to traffic on other streets and avenues are expected closer to the race dates.

Drivers and pedestrians are kindly asked to use alternative routes during this period.

Baku City Circuit thanks residents in advance for their understanding.
