F1 Sponsorship Hits $2.5B Record Surge
According to SponsorUnited, in 2025 the sponsorship revenue of Formula 1 teams increased by 22.1%, reaching $2.54 billion. This has nearly closed the gap with the NFL leader ($2.66 billion). As a result, Formula 1 remains the second-highest-earning sports league in terms of sponsorship revenue worldwide, ahead of the English Premier League ($2.02 billion).
During the season, 382 deals were signed involving 358 different brands. The highest sponsorship revenue was recorded by Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team at approximately $558 million. Strong results were also reported by Scuderia Ferrari, Red Bull Racing, and McLaren Formula 1 Team.
The main growth driver continues to be the technology sector, generating $769 million (+40.8% year on year). It is followed by the financial sector ($456 million) and the apparel and accessories industry ($219 million).
