Felipe Drugovich Commits to Formula E with Andretti
Felipe Drugovich is closing his chapter in Formula 1 and will continue his career in Formula E: after three years as a reserve driver for Aston Martin, he has joined the Andretti team. The 2022 Formula 2 champion is already familiar with the series, having taken part in tests with Maserati and substituted for Nyck de Vries at Mahindra last season, where he managed to score points in Berlin.
Now, the Brazilian will become a full-time driver for Andretti, a team affiliated with TWG Motorsports, which also oversees the Cadillac project in Formula 1. However, Drugovich himself is not yet certain whether additional opportunities may arise for him in 2026.
“My current priority is Formula E,and I want to deliver the best possible results here,” he said. “In the future, much will depend on the offers and conditions, but the most important thing is that nothing interferes with my performance in the electric series.”
