FIA Gala 2026: Shanghai Hosts Motorsport’s Grand Finale

In 2026, the FIA Gala Ceremony will be held in Shanghai for the first time, taking place on December 12 and marking the conclusion of the motorsport season. The theme of the ceremony, “Harmony in Motion,” will be inspired by Chinese traditions, emphasizing the importance of balancing strength with control an essential quality for any driver seeking success on the track.

As usual, winners and podium finishers of all FIA-sanctioned championships will be recognized at the event.

Mohammed Ben Sulayem highlighted China’s significance in global motorsport and its role as a key partner in the development of the sport and the implementation of innovations.

Guanyu Zhou, reserve driver for Cadillac F1, added that hosting the ceremony in Shanghai represents an important milestone for Chinese motorsport and expressed his anticipation for the event.
