Formula 1 Drivers Cook Qutab in Baku!

As part of the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025, an exciting event took place at the Chill Zone within the Paddock area. Alpine drivers Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly, along with Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda, prepared qutab, one of the beloved dishes of Azerbaijani cuisine.

At the specially organized event, guests not only had the opportunity to taste the drivers’ culinary creations but also to observe the cooking process. Colapinto approached the task with great seriousness, carefully preparing the qutab and showing visible delight at the final result. Gasly, on the other hand, distinguished himself with humor — although his qutab deviated from the traditional shape, he jokingly remarked, “Who says qutab must always be round?”

In the end, the drivers treated their colleagues and guests to the qutab they had prepared. According to Argentine journalist Juan Fossaroli, the dish turned out to be even tastier than expected. Footage from the event quickly garnered significant attention on social media.
