Gabriele Mini claimed victory in the Saturday Formula 2 sprint race at the Hungaroring circuit. Dino Beganovic and Laurens van Hoepen joined him on the podium, securing second and third place respectively.The key moment of the race came on lap 17, when Mini successfully overtook Montoya to take the lead. Later, the battle for positions intensified as Montoya and Nikola Tsolov collided, damaging their cars and significantly changing the order at the front of the field. Following the incident, Dino Beganovic moved up to second place, while Laurens van Hoepen secured third. The Virtual Safety Car period added further drama to the race, but Mini remained composed and controlled the pace until the finish, taking his second victory of the season.Roman Bilinski set the fastest lap of the race. In the championship standings, Mini reduced his deficit to Tsolov to 17 points and continues his fight for the lead in the overall classification.
