Formula E Reschedules 2027 Monaco E-Prix and Extends Monaco Deal Through 2031

Formula E and the FIA have confirmed revisions to the 2027 championship calendar, with the Monaco E-Prix rescheduled to take place on May 1–2 instead of the previously announced May 15–16.The change was made to avoid a clash with the FIA World Endurance Championship's 6 Hours of Spa. Formula E also stated that the revised dates are better aligned with the wider calendar of major events held in the Principality of Monaco. At the same time, Formula E and the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) announced a contract extension that will keep the Monaco E-Prix on the championship calendar through 2031.Meanwhile, the opening round of the 2027 season remains unchanged. Despite the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, Formula E continues to plan a double-header season opener in Saudi Arabia on December 18–19.
