Formula E Secures Major Disney Plus Partnership Ahead of GEN4 Era

Formula E, Disney+ and ESPN have announced a long-term partnership under which the streaming platform will broadcast every session from every round of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship from next season.The broadcasts will be available to Disney+ subscribers across 144 countries, significantly expanding Formula E’s global reach. Interest in the championship is also expected to increase with the introduction of the new GEN4 cars, which feature greater power and all-wheel drive.Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds described the agreement as a major milestone for the championship. He said Disney’s global reach would help introduce Formula E to millions of new fans, while the partnership could eventually expand beyond live race coverage.
