GEN4 Debuts in Formula E

The new-generation GEN4 car for Formula E was officially unveiled at the Paul Ricard circuit and is set to debut in the 2026/2027 season.

The car demonstrates a significant increase in performance, with a top speed of 335 km/h. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 1.8 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 4.4 seconds. Power output has been substantially enhanced, particularly in Attack Mode, where it reaches up to 600 kW. The vehicle is equipped with all-wheel drive and features two aerodynamic configurations tailored for different racing conditions.

Sustainability has been a key focus in its development, with the use of recycled materials, eco-friendly tires, and a battery free of rare earth elements. Safety has also been improved through a reinforced chassis, an enlarged cockpit, and the introduction of new protective systems.

According to preliminary data, the GEN4 is considerably faster than its predecessors, and teams are expected to further optimize its performance ahead of the season.
