New Floor, New Hope: Haas Takes on Aero Issues in Japan
Haas Introduces New Floor at Japanese Grand Prix to Address Aerodynamic Issues
Haas has brought a newly developed floor to the Japanese Grand Prix in an effort to resolve the aerodynamic issues the team encountered earlier in the season.
As RaceBrief.com reports, the American outfit first faced aerodynamic instability during the opening round of the season in Australia. In response, the team has designed and introduced a new floor specifically for Suzuka.
Team Principal Ayao Komatsu shared his thoughts ahead of the race: QUOTE: “We’re not sure how effective the upgrades will be at the Japanese Grand Prix. I think we’ll only understand the situation after the first sector. There’s also a chance that the changes may prove as ineffective as they did in Melbourne. Still, I believe we’ll perform better than in the last race.” END QUOTE
