Hadjar Joins Red Bull Racing for 2026

Aysak Hadjar will officially become Max Verstappen’s new teammate at Red Bull Racing for the 2026 season, moving up from Racing Bulls and replacing Yuki Tsunoda, who will remain as a test and reserve driver.

Laurent Mekies highlighted Tsunoda’s contributions: “He has spent seven years with our family, demonstrating consistency and speed, and has become a favorite among everyone. We thank him for his contributions and are confident he will continue to support our new projects in 2026.” About Hadjar, he added: “Aysak has shown maturity and pure pace. We believe that together with Max, he can achieve remarkable results on track.”

Hadjar himself expressed gratitude to the team: “This is a tremendous opportunity to compete at the highest level. Thanks to Racing Bulls, I have learned a lot and achieved my first podium. I feel ready for Red Bull Racing and am looking forward to working closely with Max.”
