Hamilton Calls Penalty Unfair

Lewis Hamilton supported Fernando Alonso’s criticism of the stewards at the Mexican Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver received a 10-second penalty for going off track and gaining an advantage, while Hamilton considers the punishment unfair.

“I had a good start and navigated the first three corners carefully, while others cut the corners and were not penalized. I acted the same way as everyone else around me, yet I received a 10-second penalty. Yes, I touched gravel and grass, but I returned via the proper path,” Hamilton stated.

Despite this, Hamilton highlighted positive aspects of the race and promised to continue fighting: “I will keep training and pushing forward, not allowing external circumstances to hold me back.”
