Hamilton Celebrates Arsenal Glory
May 20, 2026
Arsenal F.C. secured the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years, bringing the championship back to London after more than two decades. The club last lifted the trophy during the legendary 2003/04 season under the management of Arsene Wenger.
The historic achievement was also celebrated by Lewis Hamilton, a long-time Arsenal supporter. The seven-time Formula 1 world champion shared a short but symbolic message on social media: “COYG” (“Come On You Gunners”), a phrase instantly recognised by Arsenal fans around the world.
Arsenal’s attention now turns to another major challenge the UEFA Champions League Final against Paris Saint-Germain F.C., which will take place on 30 May in Budapest.
