Hamilton: “Too Early to Talk About a New Ferrari Contract”

During the weekend at Interlagos, Lewis Hamilton stated that discussions regarding the extension of his contract with Ferrari have not yet begun and are not planned for the near future. According to him, his current agreement is long-term, and such talks usually start about a year before the contract expires.

Commenting on the penalty he received in Mexico for exceeding track limits, the seven-time world champion noted that other drivers in similar situations were not penalized. Hamilton emphasized that the stewarding system needs greater transparency, as decisions are often made “behind closed doors” and can ultimately influence the outcome of the championship.
