Hamilton’s Special Helmet Honors Lauda at Monza

At the upcoming Italian Grand Prix,Ferrari will take to the track in a special livery dedicated to Niki Lauda and the 50th anniversary of his first championship title with the Scuderia.

Lewis Hamilton has also joined in paying tribute to the Austrian legend, unveiling a bespoke helmet design for the race in Monza. His signature yellow colors are complemented by white accents, with Lauda’s name prominently displayed on the helmet.

This is not the first time Hamilton has honored Lauda in such a way. At the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix, the first race following the three-time world champion’s passing, Hamilton also wore a helmet bearing Lauda’s name. On that occasion, he secured pole position and went on to claim victory, dedicating his win to Niki Lauda’s memory.
