Hollywood Gives Green Light to F1 Sequel

F1 The Movie, released this summer, has already grossed 633 million dollars, becoming the highest-earning project of Brad Pitt’s career. Formula 1 officials are satisfied with the results, although Stefano Domenicali previously advised against rushing into a sequel.

However, the film’s producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, stated at an event in Los Angeles that work on the second installment is already underway:

“Yes, we have begun developing the sequel. Production of the first film was prolonged due to the industry strikes, but the final result justified the effort audiences around the world received it exceptionally well. I had never collaborated with Brad Pitt before, and working with him proved to be a truly remarkable experience.”
