Home Hero:O’Ward Back Behind the Wheel for McLaren in Mexico

Pato O’Ward will once again have the opportunity to drive for McLaren, taking to the track in Mexico during the first free practice session in place of Lando Norris. For the Mexican driver, this will mark his fourth official Formula 1 weekend he previously took part in practice sessions in Abu Dhabi in 2022 and 2023, as well as at his home race last season.

Norris, meanwhile, shared his thoughts ahead of the event: “I love Mexico it’s one of the most vibrant cities, and the circuit is always a pleasure to drive. The fans are incredibly passionate, and the atmosphere is truly special. After finishing on the podium in Austin, I want to keep up the momentum and fight for even more points this weekend.”
