Jaguar Unveils GEN4
Jaguar Racing, currently second in the manufacturers’ standings after six rounds of the Formula E season, has unveiled a prototype of its next-generation GEN4 car. The model, named the Jaguar GEN4 Proto TYPE, features a distinctive test livery incorporating telemetry data that illustrates the evolution of Jaguar’s race car speeds on the Monaco circuit.
Team Principal Ian James stated that the project reflects the brand’s decade-long progress in electric technology and marks the transition to a new era of the championship. He added that GEN4 cars will be faster and more technologically advanced.
The official presentation of the new-generation cars will take place next week at Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, where Porsche and Stellantis (under the Opel brand) will also showcase their prototypes.
Participation in the GEN4 era has already been formally confirmed by Jaguar, Porsche, Stellantis, Lola, and Nissan.
