Lando Dominates the Drama in Brazil

Weather once again played a key role in the Interlagos weekend, but despite an overnight typhoon, the schedule went ahead as planned. The remaining moisture on the track caused plenty of trouble several crashes in the sprint and unexpected results in qualifying, as both Red Bull drivers were eliminated in the first session.

Lando Norris delivered an almost flawless weekend the championship leader topped every major session and started from pole. In the race, he confidently maintained his advantage, securing his seventh victory of the season and the eleventh of his career.

Kimi Antonelli celebrated his first podium finish by taking second place, while Max Verstappen, starting from the pit lane, fought his way through the field to finish third.

Ferrari lost valuable points after a double retirement, allowing Mercedes to reclaim third place in the Constructors’ Championship.

The next round will take place in two weeks’ time in Las Vegas.
