Leclerc Takes Hamilton’s Car for Abu Dhabi FP1

In Abu Dhabi, Arthur Leclerc will have a unique opportunity: the Ferrari simulator driver will take to the track for the first time in Lewis Hamilton’s car during the first part of the free practice sessions. The young Monegasque will participate as a guest driver to collect valuable data and gain experience with a modern Formula 1 car, which will help him prepare for future tests and improve collaboration with the Ferrari team.

For Leclerc, this is a chance to feel the car’s real behavior on the track and understand the nuances of working with the team during pit stops and in-box strategies. The experience gained during these sessions will enable him to better adapt to the demands of Formula 1 and accelerate his professional development within the team. Ferrari expects Leclerc’s participation to provide new insights and enhance preparations for the final races of the season.
