Lindblad Observes Formula E Tactics
Arvid Lindblad was seen in the Nissan garage on the second day of the race weekend in Jeddah. The 18-year-old Racing Bulls driver had several reasons for his visit: he came to support his manager and mentor, Oliver Rowland, the leader of the Nissan factory team and the reigning Formula E champion. Commentators also suggested that Lindblad used the opportunity to observe energy-management strategies and efficient recuperation methods, which play a crucial role in the electric series.
Despite the differences between Formula 1 and Formula E, this knowledge may prove valuable in 2026, hybrid systems will account for half of an F1 power unit’s output.
During the Bahrain tests, Lindblad noted that he is currently focused on understanding the car and working with the power unit, while next week the team intends to move on to more detailed setup work and focus on performance.
The day ended on a positive note: Oliver Rowland finished on the podium a result Arvid undoubtedly welcomed.
