Lindblad’s F1 Journey Begins

Arvid Lindblad is the only rookie of the 2026 season. At the FIA press conference in Melbourne, the Racing Bulls driver spoke about achieving his lifelong dream.

Arvid Lindblad: “I feel great, as I have finally reached the goal of my life making it to Formula 1. I am eagerly looking forward to the race weekend, especially qualifying and the race itself. There is more pressure here, more people, more media interaction the atmosphere is completely different from F2 or F3. But I am focused on what matters most driving.

We are learning to adapt to the new regulations: the cars and tires are different, the power unit has changed, and we need to apply new techniques and approaches to get the maximum out of the car. That is currently our main focus.”
