Madrid’s First Grand Prix Prize

The organizers of the Spanish Grand Prix have unveiled the trophy that will be awarded to the winner of the race, which will be held for the first time in September at the new Madring Circuit in Madrid.

The trophy was designed by the Italian design studio Pininfarina. The concept of the award is based on the stylized 24-degree Monumental corner and the layout of the circuit itself. The studio has previously created trophies for several Formula 1 races, including Grands Prix in Qatar, Azerbaijan, China and Brazil.

According to the organizers, construction of the circuit near the IFEMA complex is progressing according to schedule. The work is expected to be completed in the coming months, after which the track will host test runs and undergo final inspections before the race scheduled for 13 September.
