Main Central Roads Have Been Reopened

For the first time in nine years, the majority of road restrictions were lifted just 12 hours after the conclusion of a Formula 1 race week.

Following the 2025 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, dismantling works on the circuit infrastructure and the grandstands at Azneft Square were completed, allowing central streets to be reopened for public traffic. On the first night of dismantling, as of 06:00, traffic was fully restored with the exception of the section of Neftchilar Avenue between the intersections with Rashid Behbudov Street and Pushkin Street.

It should be noted that during race week, in order to reduce traffic congestion in the city, a number of previously closed roads were temporarily reopened to drivers at specific intervals.

Baku City Circuit Operations Company extends its gratitude to city residents and drivers for their understanding.
