Max Verstappen to Mark 200th Race with Red Bull at Hungarian Grand Prix

Max Verstappen is set to celebrate a major milestone this weekend, as the Hungarian Grand Prix will mark his 200th Formula 1 race with Oracle Red Bull Racing.

Since making his debut with the team, the Dutch driver has competed in 199 Grands Prix, securing 65 victories, 117 podium finishes, and four World Championship titles along the way.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Verstappen acknowledged the significance of the upcoming event: “This week we head to Hungary, and it will be my 200th race with Red Bull. It’s a special moment, and also the final race before the summer break. After this, the team will have the opportunity to rest and return even stronger for the remainder of the season.”

Reflecting on the previous round in Belgium, he added: “We were a bit disappointed with the result in Spa. The car was set up for wet weather, but the race eventually started on a dry track. We’ll take lessons from that experience and work on improving our performance.”

Looking ahead to this weekend, Verstappen remains optimistic: “We’ve generally performed well at the Hungaroring, and I particularly enjoy the technical nature of the second sector. However, overtaking here is quite difficult, so it will be crucial to qualify strongly on Saturday.”
