Max Verstappen Unveils Special Helmet Design for Austrian Grand Prix
Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen has revealed a specially designed helmet for the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix.
As reported by RaceBrief.com, the helmet features an image of an Orange Lion – a symbol strongly associated with the Dutch driver's heritage. Verstappen is set to wear this helmet during the Austrian, Belgian, and Dutch Grands Prix.
It is worth noting that the current season has been challenging for the Red Bull team. As a result, Verstappen’s chances of securing a fifth world title have decreased. He currently trails championship leader Oscar Piastri by 43 points.
Moreover, Verstappen faces the risk of suspension if he receives another penalty point in Austria. The Dutch driver currently has 11 penalty points on his super license; reaching 12 would result in a one-race ban.
