Mercedes Shines in Canada as Russell Takes First Podium of the Season

The 10th round of the season, the Canadian Grand Prix, is now behind us.

Pirelli brought its softest range of compounds to this race—Hard, Medium, and Soft tyres using the C4, C5, and C6 compounds.

The front row of the starting grid was occupied by George Russell and Max Verstappen, followed by Oscar Piastri and Kimi Antonelli on the second row. Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso lined up on the third row.

After an intense battle, it was Mercedes that stood out. Team driver George Russell secured his first podium of the season and the fourth of his Formula 1 career.

Max Verstappen finished second, while Kimi Antonelli celebrated the first podium of his career by finishing third.

The next round of the championship will take place from June 27 to 29 in Spielberg, Austria.
